Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation is a medically supervised outpatient program that provides education, monitored exercise, guidance, and support to help you manage your heart or lung condition and return to normal activities.

Who Should Participate?

Anyone diagnosed with the following conditions could benefit from Cardiopulmonary Rehab:

  • Heart Attack
  • Angina
  • Coronary Artery Angioplasty or Stents
  • Open Heart Surgery 
  • Heart Failure
  • Heart Transplantation
  • Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD)

As with any exercise program, consult your physician (a referral is necessary). It is also important to check with your insurance provider about coverage.
