Emergencies Happen
Emergencies can happen in an instant. Understanding the signs and symptoms can save a life, maybe even your own.
Call 911 if one or more of the following symptoms are present:
- Choking
- Breathing has stopped.
- Severe asthmatic attack.
- Head injury with passing out, fainting, or confusion.
- Injury to the neck or spine, especially if there is a loss of feeling or inability to move.
- Electric shock or lightning strike.
- Seizure that has lasted 3 to 5 minutes.
