Deckerville Community Hospital’s surgical team provides convenient and affordable general surgical services. We are proud to offer our services in a comfortable facility for adults.

Colonoscopy: During the early stages of colon cancer, many people don’t experience any symptoms. And regular screenings, like a colonoscopy, are the best way to catch colon cancer early when it’s most curable. During the test, the doctor can find and remove most polyps and some cancers. Colonoscopy also is used as a follow-up test if anything unusual is found during one of the other screening tests.

Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD): EGD is a test to examine the lining of the esophagus, stomach, and first part of the small intestine (the duodenum).
