Medical Assistant (Full-Time)
Deckerville Community Hospital has an opening for a full-time Medical Assistant at their clinic office. Current MA certification is required with experience preferred. Pediatric experience preferred with ability to adapt to changes. Good documentation skills, customer service skills, and computer skills a must. Flexible day and afternoon shifts are required.
Medical Assistant Float (Full-Time)
Deckerville Community Hospital has an opening for a full-time Medical Assistant Float at their clinic office. In this position, the Medical Assistant will float between front office clerical duties and clinical duties. Current MA certification is required with experience preferred. Pediatric experience preferred with ability to adapt to changes. Good documentation skills, customer service skills, and computer skills a must. Flexible day and afternoon shifts are required.
Registered Nurse (Full-Time Night Shift) with $10,000 Sign on Bonus
Deckerville Community Hospital is taking applications for a Full-Time night shift RN. An RN applying will be required to have a completed a qualified nursing program through an accredited college or university and possess a current Michigan Nursing license. Ideal candidates will possess current BLS certification while, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications are strongly encouraged. Effective decision-making skills and good communication skills with physicians, patients and co-workers are necessary.

ER Tech (Casual)
Deckerville Community Hospital is taking applications for a casual ER Tech. Candidate will possess either a current CNA license, EMT license, Paramedic license, or be actively enrolled and in good academic standing in a registered nurse program with the first year successfully completed. Candidate will also possess current BLS certification.
Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist (Full-Time) with $5,000 Sign-on Bonus
Deckerville Community Hospital is looking for a full-time Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist (MLT or MT-CLS) to work variable shifts. ASCP or equivalent registry is required.
Echocardiographer - Cardiac Sonographer (Casual)
. The ideal candidate will have completed a formal program in diagnostic medical sonography or experience with current registry status. Candidate will be registry or registry eligible.
Certification must be obtained within one year of hire date by an accredited credentialing body, such as Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Candidate will also be responsible for the educational needs in accordance with license and have current BLS certification.
Admitting Clerk (Casual)
Flexible day & evening shifts and weekends are required. In this capacity, individuals are responsible for gathering information necessary to provide a database for patients receiving hospital services. Included are identification, insurance, consent, and record keeping involved for whatever type service the patient receives. Admitting functions are expanded to include switchboard, cashier, and secretarial duties as assigned. A high School diploma or equivalent is required, as well as excellent customer service and phone skills. Candidates must possess a functioning knowledge of computer skills and attention to detail will be required. Knowledge of medical insurance is highly considered.
Coding/Billing Clerk (Full-Time)
Deckerville Community Hospital is seeking a full-time Medical Coding/Billing Clerk. Responsibilities include preparing and submitting billing data and medical claims to insurance companies. Medical clinic outpatient billing experience is required, and ideal candidates will also possess an associate degree in medical billing or the equivalent certification. The successful candidate will be a flexible positive team-player who is a detail oriented multi-tasker with a comprehensive understanding of the entire billing revenue cycle. Superior communication skill, the ability to learn quickly and the capability to handle high volumes of appeals and follow up will be looked upon favorably.
Cook (Full-Time)
Deckerville Community Hospital is seeking to fill the Full-Time Cook position. Flexibility is a must with days, afternoons, weekends, and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent required with basic computer skills. Candidates with two years of experience in hospital quantity food preparation or equivalent special training in culinary arts is preferred. ServSafe certification is preferred.
Housekeeping (Full-Time)
We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time housekeeper for afternoon shift. In this capacity, individuals are responsible for the hospital’s cleanliness. Tasks include cleaning patient care areas, and service departments within the facility to maintain a safe and clean environment for all individuals. Communication skills and working as a team player is a must. A High School diploma or equivalent is required, as well as excellent customer service and phone skills. Candidates must possess knowledge of computer skills and manual dexterity in operating equipment which includes standing, bending, stooping, and lifting. They must also be aware of work environment for the safety of self and others. Flexibility in schedules is a must for individuals seeking this position. The job covers afternoons, weekends and holidays on an as needed basis.
